I was offered a free 7 night cruise from Mini Vacations after purchasing a timeshare. It wasn't until several months later i was able to get the time off to take the cruise. I had called the long distance number given on my certificate to inquire about the free 7 night cruise. I was told about the price of the base room and the prices of the upgrades if i chose. I was also informed about the goverment taxes that had to be paid for each person. After several phone calls with Mini Vacations, i was not ready with a decision on which cruise to go on, what dates to go and which upgrade. After a final quote of $1149, i was to fax a written letter giving permission for Mini Vacations to debit a $500US ($595.61CDN)deposit towards payment for a cruise. After doing so, i would receive a vacation package and then a confirmation letter.

It has now been well over 2 months and there has still been no confirmation. Today i tried to make a phone call to the same number above and the line has been disconnected. I searched the internet for the website that is now gone. I searched for other phone numbers as well, only to find 3 other phone numbers that are non existant.

I am raging with anger that this company can do this to me and probably thousands or maybe millions of others out there. i hope justice is done and that these innocent people are given back their hard earned money.
