In march of 2004, I read a newspaper ad about a free hawaii vacation for 2 just to attend a seminar. at the seminar i purchased a grand monarch timeshare and was told that i would be receiving some info in the mail about my free hawaii vacation. that came and it explained that the vacations would be on space availability. i said ok and submitted my forms, received a certificate in the mail and i called to make my reservations.

it is now february of 2005 and still haven't received my free vacation, after 4 attempts to make a reservation. they send me a letter each time saying that, "unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill your request for the date offered." i understand their policy, but this is ridiculous.

you see when you call to make a reservation, they offer you 3-4 dates. i always ask if they can tell me which date is full. they always say they are unable to tell me that and i will be receiving something in the mail. which is always a letter stating the above "unfortunately" statement.

i'm at the point where i don't even care about the vacation, because i don't believe that i will ever get it in this lifetime. but i do want the world to know not to do business with these people.

thank you
sam
