MiniVacations ripoff Still waiting for a refund for a vacation that never existed Tampa Florida
We went to a three hour presentation by a company selling a vacation club in Dallas, TX to get a (free) 3 day, 2 night vacation in Las Vegas or Orlando. we declined the membership but was givien a package for the free vacation and a free hotel stay at other locations of our choice.
We sent in the US Postal money order for $100, and submitted the dates we wanted to travel. MVI marketing responded several weeks later indicating that time was not available.
We requested a refund of our deposit and are still waiting.
There is not phone number listed on any of the literature we received.
We should have known better than to fall for this 'something for nothing' scam.
