Gus was the salesman who sold me the car. when i got the car home i noticed that the check engine light was, so i called him the next day. He told me to come up to the shop and he would have his mechanic fix my car. For a week i was dealing with the mechanic then all of a sudden he lost his shop (the mechanic) so i called gus back. He referred me to another shop and told me that the warranty that i purchased would cover any of the problems. I went to the other shop and thay did a dignostic on the car and found out that the clutch was out (thats why it wouldnt go into reverse or first) and that it had 7 other major problems. I called gus and he told me to give him more money and he would give me a car that works. (i just gave him 1,000 dollars)for a car that dont work. so i told him that i would not give him anymore money, the next day they came and repo'ed my car.....so Im stuck with out a car and my money. They told me that there is no lemon law in california.

this sounds like the recent report on national TV which related to scams and rip-offs regarding Mint Auto Sales, It regarded how folks were called back to the seller to "update their information."

Whether they did or didn't come back in, it seems the end result might have resulted in a "RE"-possession because eithther the buyer or the seller didn't agree on the new demands.

READ before you sign, and then BEGIN your complaint with the State's (or local) Attorney General, whether you feel they MIGHT be right or not. Don't pay exhorbitant fees for something you don't understand.
