MIO GPS - Concentrix ,Customer Support Centre Malfunctioning product - Poor Customer Service Nationwide
I purchased a MIO C520 GPS less than a year ago and have been having problems from the begining. I have call the "Customer Support Center" on numerous occassions to solve my problem.
Each time I call, I am on hold of at least 10 minutes before speaking to an agent. Each time, I have to repeat the entire situation, over and over again...
I sent my unit for repair, twice (paying for the shipping). On the latest call, they advised me that I was to receive a replacement unit. All I had to do is to send the original back to them.
Over a week went by and after trying to follow up to see where my replacement unit was, I was contacted by the "Customer Support Center" only to be told that my replacement unit was not sent yet and that there was an additional charge.
I am deeply frustrated with MIO and the "Customer Support Centre" and wished that I had never purchased it.

LATEST UPDATE:
Was provided with RMA which clearly stated that I was to receive a replacement product.
My original unit was recieved by depot on Feb 2 and on Feb 16 I recieved what I thought was a replacement product.
BUT MY UNIT WAS REPAIRED AND NOT REPLACED. I CONTACTED THE DEPOT AND WAS TOLD THAT MIO HAD ADVISED THEM TO REPAIR THE UNIT AND NOT TO REPLACE IT.
WELL, I CHARGED THE BATTERY FOR 12 HOURS AND STILL HOLDS THE CHARGE FOR ONLY ONE HOUR.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?????
