I BROUGHT A 2000 NISSAN FROM MIRABELLA MOTORS CASH ($4,000.00); THE DEALER GAVE ME THE ORIGINAL TITLE TO THE CAR. WHEN I WENT TO THE DMV TO TRANSFER THE TITLE TO MY NAME THE DMV REFUSE AND STATES THAT THE DEALER IS RESPOSIBLE TO GIVE ME TAG  AND TITLE.  WHEN I WENT BACK TO THE DEALER TO FIX THE SITUATION THEY NOW STATE THEY NEED TO CHARGE ME FOR TAG AND TITLE FOR PRICE OF $450.00.

WHEN I REFUSE TO PAY BECAUSE THE CAR WAS ALREADY PURCHASE AND A RECIEPT WAS GIVEN TO ME THEY PUT A LEIN ON THE NISSAN THEN A COUPLE WEEKS LATER THEY REPOSE THE CAR; THEN STATE I NOW OWE THEM $1,195.00 (PRICE FOR TOWING AND PLUS THE $450.00).  NOW THEY THREATING TO RESALE THE CAR IN 3 MONTHS IF I DON'T PAY INORDER TO GET THEIR MONEY.

I FEEL THIS IS INJUSTICE, UNLAWFUL, AND ABUSING. MIRABELLA MOTORS SHOULD HAVE NEVER REPOSE MY 2000 NISSAN BECAUSE I DO NOT OWE THEM. I PAID THE CAR IN CASH IT WAS NOT FINANCE.  I PAID SO FAR $500.00 NOW I STILL OWE $650.00. THIS IS NOT RIGHT.

PLEASE HELP!!!!  I NEED JUSTICE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

FL Law: Tag/Title/Registration

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, November 23, 2011

With regard to this particular vehicle, the owner signed a COD agreement for the tag/title/registration. The fines associated with the tag/title/registration are mandated by the State of Florida. Though the price may seem excessive, it has nothing to do with our company, but a law instated by Charlie Crist in 2009.

We had a lien on the vehicle due to the fact that there was still money owed to us. Furthermore, the check that was written to cover the tag/title/registration fees bounced. After a month, and several attempts to retrieved the money, we took possession of the 2000 Nissan Xterra. This was after we were yelled at over the phone when attempting to collect payment, and even told to "repossess my car," (minus a few expletives). We did have to charge the customer for the repossession fee on top of the bounced check and fees associated with that. In an attempt to assist the customer with payment, we even set up a payment plan, so that they would not have to pay all at once.

The customer did indeed end up paying, and the vehicle is now in their possession.
