MIRAVIE MIRA VIE SKIN MIRA VIE EYE BAIT AND SWITCH, BURIED SUBSCRIPTION FEES Internet
www. naturalskinformula.com Used to go by AuraVie, now it's MiraVie... This is an ad for miracle cream that the stars use to tighten and firm skin. It is a low cost buy in, but somewhere in the small print is buried that this is a subscriptions service. The original order was for $15.00, the subscription was for $150 per month. I called my bank, who called the service. Because i checked 'agree with terms' (I did not see this box) They would not refund all of my money. The credit card company says this is a common scam, but because the 'agree with terms of service' box was checked that this is how they get away with it. The websites change montly, the website i used will not load now. Keep your eyes open for this rip-off.

yes the same thing happened to me. 5.95 trial sample then didn't even receive it heard it was a scam. Canceled it in 2 hours they still billed me 89.00. I didn't see any fine print auto shipment info. Maybe they should make people check a box saying just that and you agree to it.

What this rebuttal fails to mention is the product is in shipment for most if not all of the trial period and you get charged for the outrages cost of $89.95 & $85.95 even if you just received the product. The terms are apparently legally but just barely. When we saw the charges appear, we contacted the company immediately and it took over an hour to get a 50% refund. I spoke with the Bank of America charge dispute help line and they immediately knew who the company was. That alone is very telling.

Mira Vie made cancelling very easy

I signed up for a 14 day free trial of Mira Vie Skin Cream and Eye Serum. I have learned, through trial and error, to read the very small print at the bottom of the add. Usually, unless you remember to cancel before the end of the trial period, you are signing up for a subscription, which is usually and large amount deducted from your credit/debit card every single month (until you cancel). So, I knew that unless I cancelled before the 14 days had passed, I would be charged $89 outrageous dollars A MONTH! I was pleasantly surprised that when I called the 888 number that I got a recording that walked me through the cancellation, no questions asked, no prodding sales person to meet my "objections", etc. Times have changed! Instead of complaining (the cream and eye serum are quite satisfactory, by the way), I would like to give them kudos for exhibiting good customer service! What a surprise!
