I found this place by pure mistake while working in Marrisa. I was looking for a great shop to restore my Classic 71 Riviera. Met with Jason who took on the task of restoring my car at a quoted rate of 10K. He advised that I should have my restored vehicle by the end of Nov 2009. Then he promised Feb 2010.

I as of the last invoice we were art 18K. I have paid a total of 13,105 on a restoration and all I have physically seen is a sanded down body images of a motor and Tranny that is suppose to be completly restored and lots of email and phone request for more $$$$$$.

On 5/6/10 the owner Jason called my phone and cursed me out as if I were not even a valued customer because he wanted me to bring 3K by C.O.B since he was going out of town. What I noticed is he calls me for 2500 to 3K everytime he is headed out of town.

I have not seen one completed piece of car. He even had the nerve tell me to come pick my piece of sh*t up from his garage because of non payment of requested 3K less than 24hr prior.

Our original agreement was that he would email me images of each completed phase & task. This was the agreement because he stated he did not want me showing up to his shop every week to check on the status. To date (5/5/10) he has had my car in his shop for 10mths. I have received images of the body, the old engine and tranny on the back of a pickup and a few weeks later, painted engine and tranny images.

I have no idea where or what my seats, dash, console, doors, seals, windows, wiring etc looks like. I have requested a completion date and Jason Snapped off asking why would I need to know that.

After receiving the voice mail with him swearing at me and deflamating my character, he followed with the email stream attached below: (please note.... I have paid this man every time he has called requesting additional funds with nothing to support were those funds were being allocated) If I owe 4K out of 18K why would he think I would not pay? Why would I give him the last 4K and I have no car and no idea what the finished product looks like? His email Below:

From Jason Ervin on 5/6/10

It has become clear that you can not make it to the shop in a timely manner. You put me 4 days behind today by not choosing a color for the your car. I explained to you yesterday that it was important for you to come down yesterday or today. I was told that you would be here Thursday at noon and you never showed up. I called you and was told that you would be here by 7pm and you never showed.

One of two things can happen here: #1- You pick up your car and pay the current amount due for the work that I have already done. This amount is $2205.00.

#2- You send me $4405.00 in my mail box by Monday. I have included a work sheet on the amount / work done and why you owe $4405.00 along with your current invoice.

I am under the asumption the you still want the car two tone. Blue on top and silver on the bottom. You will also need to have a pin strip color between the two colors. I have never really got a straight ansewer from you. The amount has increased, because it is appearent that you have no respect to show up or make a phone call to me and I really do not want to have anymore mix ups with the money.

If you can't make these provisions please contact me right away or refer to option #1. You will then owe $700.00 when you pick up the car.

The problem here has never been on my side of the fence. I have done what I told you I would do. There have been a few bumps in the road but that is normal on a project of this size.

If you can not afford to continue with the project I understand this is a business and I must be paid on time and for the work that I have done.I have bills to pay too. I would like to know what option that works better for you by Friday.

I will be out of town, but you can leave a message on the office phone or email me. If you choose option number two your car will be done in 34 days( 4 more days for no color chose) as we talked about on the phone to the best of my abliity.

I also found that the drivers door latch is jambing and a spring is broken and you are missing wheel well stainless/ chrome.

He has had my car for almost a year. I have told him several times what color and my invoice reflects this. He has completed 30 days worth of work in 10mths.

I will never under any circumstance referr this shop to anyone. I will make it my duty to ensure that justice is served with regards to this matter. In this day of economic depression how many people are setting aside this kind of cash to have no return on investment?

I was one small business man supporting another and in the end got ripped-off!
