Complaint Review: Myriam Cleaning Service

We had used Miriam Cleaning service in Clifton-Passaic area for a year or so until I really starting putting things together. At first they were sweet and kind and did a great job. And once I felt comfortable with them, I'd say a couple of months after they started, I would leave the house to run errands. I was always getting in the way because they bring about 4 ladies to clean my house and were usually in and out within an hour or so.

That's when things started to go missing. I thought at first it was my kids, or I had misplaced it or just forgot what I did with it. But soon realized it could be the cleaning ladies. So i set a little trap. I had a tooth pulled the week prior and had some pain killers the dentist gave me, i emtied the bottle and put in asprin instead and left it on the kitchen counter. I even stayed home in a part of the house they don't clean and sure enough after they left half of the pills were gone.

That was just that one instance. Over the time they cleaned for me there was jewerly missing (nothing expensive) some cash, some small electrnics (old cell phones) and if there anything else I can't think of it at the moment or haven't realized it missing yet.

I just feel so violated. You trust someone to come into your home and they were all so sweet and as soon as your not looking they are stealing from you. Only Lucy aka Miriam the owner spoke English all the others spoke spanish and they would talk to one another and at one point I got so paranoid they were talking about what to steal I almost lost my mind.

Needless to say I threw them all out - just as well - they never took a check always had to be cash and they tipped themselves with my property by stealing from me.

I leanered my lesson. I would rather have a messy house than have another theif in my house again so beware of Miriam Cleaning Service in Clifton Passaic area.
