Miserable Service from MCI Worldcom Wireless Ripoff

It's quite obvious from the numerous reports listed here that I am not alone in my problems with Worldcom Wireless.

My chief complaint stems from the fact that I have been stuck with a broken cell phone for 2 months now, and Worldcom Wireless has made zero progress in either repairing it, replacing it, or releasing me from my contract. Invariably, they blame either Nokia, the local sales rep, or another service department. I don't care who's to blame. Just replace my phone!

Everytime I call into Customer Service to check on the status of my issue, without exception I am confronted with extremely long hold times, and then lengthy explanations of my problem, since they don't seem to be able to track my issue from call to call.

My wife and I have spent countless hours waiting on hold with this company for zero result. I have encountered rude service reps, powerless managers, and clueless supervisors. Some of them don't even know how to proceed with solving my problem.

The solution is simple. Release me from my contract. Credit me the billed months while my phone was unusable. Let me get another cell phone. This solution has never been offered, and when I suggested it, I was flatly told that this was not an option. Instead, they choose to trap me within a non-serviceable agreement, keeping me on eternal hold with no feedback or reasonable attempt at pleasing a paying customer.

Unfortunately for them, they have angered a customer who is going to exert considerable effort in making sure that anyone who should know about this Customer Service nightmare is informed of their miserable, confused service.
