Missouri Wind and Solar Verified TRUSTED BUSINESS REVIEW: Customer Satisfaction Commitment: Missouri Wind and Solar thousands of happy, repeat customers and is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction.
After installation of our solar system and charge controller as per manufacturing instructions it was determined on June 30 by Missouri Wind and Solar that the controller was not functioning. They asked for a picture to be emailed to verify that it was installed correctly, which we provided. They requested that they controller be sent back at our expense and a replacement would be sent out. They said they would have to charge for the new controller, but as soon as they recieve the faulty one, they would credit us. After they had received the controller, they determined it was shipped out without being calibrated. In the meantime we saw that they had not credited our credit card yet. We asked them about this and told them we needed to be credited back since the uncalibrated controller was sent back to them and received by them. They informed us that they would not give us our money back even though they admited that it was their fault that it was sent out uncalibrated. In fact they said they would calibrate the controller for a $35 fee even though it should have been done by them in the first place!! Then they said we could have the part back if we paid for the fee and shipping, but we would not be getting our money refunded for the second controller they sent out. So we paid for two controllers including shipping to and from Missouri Wind and Solar when we only needed one. We are out $157 for the controller as well as $60 total for the shipping. I would never recommend Missouri Wind and Solar to any of our friends or family. They are terrible to do business with. Alot of people are already asking us about our solar system and looking at it and we are telling them do NOT do business with this company!!
In short, they provide no warrenty on their products. Be prepared to pay for shipping to and from and a bench fee for returned defective products. They have no problem using your credit card improperly. Save yourself a headache, spend a little more money and buy from a reputable company that stands behind their products.

My Missouri Wind and Solar review

I have had my 1600 Watt Missouri Wind and Solar wind turbine on my tower for 2 months. It is the 24 volt, 1600 Watt unit. It is placed on a 45 foot tower with clear access to the wind in all bearings. I am running 6 guage welding wire from the wind turbine to a 24 volt battery bank. I should also say that I am an authorized eletrician in the state of New York.
Missouri Wind and Solar truly scammed me! I acquired the MWS 1600 Watt wind turbine to supplant my 300 Watt Airx. I needed a wind turbine that would make more power. What a baffled. My 300 Watt Airx makes more power than this Missouri Wind and Solar 1600 Watt bit of $%#@.
In 20 mile per hour wind I could get more than 100 Watts from my 300 Watt Airx. I get 60 Watts from my 1600 Watt, 24 volt Missouri Wind and Solar wind turbine. In 30 mile every hour wind I could get 300 Watts from my 300 Watt Airx.
In 30 mph wind I just get 180 Watts from my 1600 Watt Missouri Wind and Solar wind turbine. What a trick! I called Missouri Wind and Solar and they recounted to me a few BS anecdote about how I had it wired wrong, how the wire I was utilizing was not sufficiently thick, and so forth.
Missouri Wind and Solar turbines are a joke and a trick. Purchaser be cautioned. Don't succumb to their trick!
