Complaint Review: mister handyman

I got the name of this handyman from Menards at Construction Materials. they have lists. I called several for estimates and when this guy showed up ,  I thought he was a person who was referred to me. There were 3 guys named Scott who called me. the person I talked to who said he was sending over a guy who does roofs was someone whose business I drove by and knew of. the person who I gave a deposit to was a different Scott who turned out to be a crook who has done this before and was in jail for 6 months. He's out doing it again taking money at estimates and not doing any work.

He knows  all about roofs and construction but I found he has a drug problem. He says he will do all the work and talks about 30 years in business and sons who help him. He is a lying piece of crap and will say anything to get your money to buy more dope. He never intentd to do any of the work. He continues to change his business name because he has complaints going back at least 5 years. he needs to be in jail. the courts let people like him get away with this ripping people off and never repaying the money. They should be in jail and any real property they have should be seized and auctioned off to help reimburse victims.
