Complaint Review: Misty Dhooge Malamutes in Wiggins CO

I message Misty about her puppies I saw Listed on puppyfind. I thought I had found the perfect additon to my pack as I myself raise Alaskan Malamutes. After talking to Misty and addressing my concerns I had before sending any money I felt sure this was the pup for me. I asked Misty about the bite on the puppy as I know Overbites are common on some white lines. She assured me the puppy had a even bite and her vet woudl confirm before shipping the puppy. I also asked about some pink pigment i thought I may have seen on the nose but pictures were blurry I couldnt tell for sure.

So she sends me another Blurry Picture. I take her word and send the full amount of $1900 the very next day. She insist on using walmart to walmart due to past experinces. I should have seen a red flag right there but I trusted her. The day came I went to pick up my puppy from the airport and after we get home I got to take her out to play and they puppy is extremely scared and un solicized . She bites me terrifed and hides in the corner. The pup then contines to show a bi polar personality sometimes running and screaming in fear and other times playful.

Nothing I have ever seen in all my years of breeding! I check her bite to see it is completely off! This poor pup have her bottom canines stabbing into her top gumline!! She is in pain clearly. I Call and Message Misty to inform her. I get ingored all day as clearly Misty knew the pup was sick and just wanted the money. It was not until I left a voicemail telling her if I don't hear from her by end of day I was going to Police that she even replied to me!

She finally had her Husband contact me as she did not wish to speak to me directly knowing what she had done. They pretended not to know about the issues and that it was a accident but did tell me I should accept my loss and keep the puppy anyways.. I am now very annoyed. I explain I will do everything in my power to ensure they do not keep my money so finally they agree to refund me $1300 Only if I return the pup to them as they claim they love her and will keep her etc. I agree, At this point I loose my deposit, my shiping money and will also loose the money to return her so I lost $900 Plus my back and forth gas money to return a puppy that only needed to be returned because they straight out lied to me!

I return her and go on with life. Only to find 2 weeks later they have the same puppy they sold to me Posted on Pupyfind again asking Full price and not mentioning her horrible overbite or getting her vet care like she needs. They are off to scam the next person as that's what they do best! Do NOT Buy anything from MISTY DHOOGE in Colorado! She is a complete Liar and will say anything to take your money. I feel nothing but sorrow for her dogs as I can't imagine how they are treated if this is how she is with this poor puppy.
