Years ago, my thief in-law, Mitchell Shaffer, Phd, came to me with tears in his eyes, while we were having coffee at Bally's Casino in Las Vegas. He asked if I would loan him the money to pay off his student loans and his charge cards. He stated, "with me only paying the minimum payment, I will never be able to pay them off." Well, with his wife my sister, and 2 baby girls upstairs in the hotel asleep, how could I say no. At that time I didn't know he was a habitual gambler, a liar, cheat and thief-in-law. I agreed to loan the money, no interest, $150. per month for many, many years. They would have been paid off this year. I wrote I'm to checks that night. He made 2 $150. payments plus deducted the next months airfare Vegas trip as a payment, so in essence he made a total of three payments, out of an over $18,000 loan.  Here is what devastes me. After calling and calling the Dr. and no return calls, I went to his Rabbi in Irvine. In 2009 I wrote a letter detailing every penny, I had loaned my sister and thief in law. I mentioned, I was loosing my house and needed my money back. The Rabbi met with me and told me, he would meet with them. He did and got back to me. My thief-in-law, looked the Rabbi straight in the face and said, "we paid her back in full." Mitchell Shaffer, Phd, Is a Liar, Cheat, and a Thief. I subsequently lost my home/ business. He works for or owns, still checking, Orange County Health and Psychology Associates, Inc in Irvine. 62 Discovery Ste 100, Irvine, California. I don't know about you, but I don't believe I would trust my loved one, in his care. I don't believe  people can behave one way in their personal lives, and differently in their professional. You can't or can you?
