Complaint Review: MJL Estate Sales Mary Jean Lamperti

Went to an estate sale that Mary Jean Lamperti of MJL Estate Sales was having this past weekend for comic books. Upon entering the household and looking at the comic books it looked like a lot of comics were missing which the ed on estatesales.net claimed that there was 1,000 comics and plenty of photos of comics with at least 10 valuable comics not being there at the sale and after asking her where the missing comics were she told me they were all there...lady I'm not an idiot and I could clearly tell you which ones were missing and I did and you continued to write down all the comics I told you were not there and said that you want to get credit for these expensive books not being there from the home owner...which you didn't even sell....which also brings me to her pricing on items...I still don't understand her pricing....she had comic books listed at a 10 price when the books are clearly 5-7 range in grading .it's a huge difference in pricing after about 20 people told her the prices are way overpriced I would think you'd change the pricing and sell the books but no she thinks she's some sort of professional in the comic world and stuck to the insane prices she had on them.

I came back another day and all the books are still there and I even made her an offer on the whole lot which she told me no...now I know if I was the home owner and I hired a company to sell off my stuff I would hope that they were doing so instead of denying a sale. I have never been to such an unorganized, unprofessional, ridiculously priced, arrogant, stuck up, lying, estate sale held by a persona who doesn't serve the interest of the home owner to make money. I almost feel like she'd be the type of person to take all the expensive comic books hold them herself and personally sell them on ebay and lie to the home owner as she sold them to make a huge profit. I wouldn't trust this women selling your stuff.
