MJR Collections How to get rid of a collection agency - once and for all? Mississagua, Ontario Canada
I was keep getting phone calls from a collection agency called MJR COLLECTIONS. there were 4 challenges in this... First, I don't have any outstanding debt. Second, the name on their record was not mine (nor was the birth date of the person who they were looking for) and their "automated machine" calls me 5 times a day. finally (and the main challenge) was that their system doesn't allow for anyone to unsubscribe.

So I decided to video tape the entire experience and send the video to the provincial and federal governments. I have also spoken to a manager at the organization and he denies my phone is on their calling list. My question - why can't you just STOP automated calls? clearly it doesn't work. why don't you fix your automated system and apologize? Finally, with identify theft on the rise, why doesn't this organization take on being responsible for who they are calling?
