Complaint Review: MMITEK Min Maw Int'l Fujiplus

Last year, I saw a Fujiplus 19" LCD monitor on Tigerdirect.com for only $199 (cheap at that time), after a mail-in-rebate of US$90 from its vendor, MMITek, or Min Maw International Inc. whatever its legal name is.

Purchased the LCD and sent in the rebate including all evidences in time and NEVER heard from them since then. This summer (07/2006) I called their office to find out why. Several different guys/gals picked up my phone and simply said they didn't receive my rebate request. OK, then I was told to resend them and fax them to a fax number they provided. I did.

Now it's the end of 2006. MMITEK, when can I receive the US90 (maybe plus some interest?) you promised at TigerDirect.com?? If it were not the rebate, I wouldn't buy an LCD with a "no-name" brand!!

(ps: I searched the web a while for its rebate service. This is definitely not the first time they receive complaint. Someone even said they receive a rebate check in hand-written. What a joke! Fujiplus, or MMITEk, do you know what "SHAME" is???
