Complaint Review: MNC Host

MNC Host mnchost Complete Rip Off, and then has the audacity to tell me i Do not deserve a refund, Files a charge back AGAINST REFUND. Internet

I purchased a Dedicated server from this company, And was excited to get everything move to a new 1Gbps line. The customer service was mediocre at first, But I figured once I was setup, I wouldn't need them anymore.. That was not the case... Since the server got delivered, All it would do is Bluescreen, I messaged them for 3 days in a row, getting short and not very helpful responses for 3 days straight, until they "Claim" to have replaced the server with a new one.. The "New One" continued to Bluescreen as the previous one had done as well.
On the 4th day, they locked me off the server for 24 hours, for "Testing" and then informed me that the BlueScreens were My fault, and i Would have to uninstall everything that ive installed.. (I didn't know MySQL isn't compatible with windows (sarcasm)) 
It took me 9 Times, First asking, then demanding a refund for them to finally agree to a refund.. Their website clearly said that they offered a 7 Day money back guarantee. First attempt to get a refund they told me that they would have to charge me for the Ram Upgrade i took, because they had to order more ram for me... When i disagreed then they tried to say that they would need to assess a Setup Fee, and Licensing Fee before they can refund. After 9 Support tickets and getting nowhere I agreed to take the $79 refund (I paid $119.99 originally) and it took them another THREE days before they even issued that.. When they refunded, they did not refund the 79, they refunded 75.. Even more interesting is that they used a COMPLETELY different PayPal to do the refund, So I ended up having to pay PayPal fees on that as well! The refund i received was 71.00. When i questioned this, they threw their TOS at me, witch im about 99.9% sure they updated just before sending to me, because it never had mention of a Setup fee, nor licensing fees before that day, But once they sent it to me that day, it Conveniently said something about both. 
After dealing with them until I couldn't stand it anymore, I decided that it was time to take it to the next step, i filed a PayPal Dispute, in attempt to get a FULL refund. They responded by filing a dispute against the incomplete refund they issued me. 

Very stand up company, use them if your looking to get robbed by a bunch of people who cant speak English.

Hello Visitors ,

First & foremost , we would like to thank Marion for there updated & true comments . Yes , we completely agree that Marion faced some software issue in there unmanaged server before & we tried our best to provide true support 24 X 7 even the servers was unmanaged one . We even changed all hardware including memory , processors ,cabinet with new tested one ,yet issue not gone.

On 5th day , our support team asked marion to handle there server to us for software related check & we found issue with software only "blue screen problem is because of outdated rdpsys file ".

From 6th day , everything is normal & running fine .

he filed one paypal case for the same & escalated the dispute to paypal .As soon as he filed dispute ,Paypal asked all documents from us related to same dispute &  our billing department submitted the same . Finally , Our company won the case .

As per our refund policy ,we won't refund for addons (Windows 2008 OS ) & setup fee ,yet we credited 100% one month charges ($120) in there account .

After filing this report, The company contacted me offering to make things right. I am overall very satisfied with the amount of support they provided, in trying to resolve my issue. 

I have asked RipOffReport several times to remove this report, but they are not responding to my emails.. So i figure it would only be right to update this and set the record straight..

The servers they offered, Actually gave me the 1Gbps that i paid for, This is the first US Based 1Gbps hosting company that I have found that would offer me the full 1Gbps, My speed tests averaged 900Mbps down, and here is a test for proof: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2176723097.png.

My bad experience was likely due to the fact that my time was very sensitive, And downtime wasn't something that i could afford to do. The company was more than willing to help me get back up and running, But I did not have the time to wait on the issue to be resolved. I expected everything to work out of the box, and that wasn't my case. Considering the price they offer these servers at, I would consider using them, Because they offer so many things for FREE (ie Windows, and the Ram Upgrade) The amount of support offered considering the price is also very good as well. Even then the issue could have been a software issue, they were more than willing to look and possibly fix it for me. No other company ive used in the past offered that sort of support on any software.
