Mobil - East Hills AutoFix Gas Pump Fraud Roslyn Heights New York
I have a Honda Civic that I've owned for 8 years, I know very well it has a 13 gallon tank. I was filling my tank up at this Mobil station and realized it was taking longer than usual and it said 14.75 gallons! Absolutely Impossible! The pump was still going but I stopped it and it seemed like it would have kept going if I didn't. I ended up paying way more than I should have for almost 2 gallons more of gas that my car is not even equipped to hold. This has NEVER happened to me before and I even checked my owners manual to make sure I didn't suddenly lose my mind and my car miraculously expanded the gas tank size.

I have owned the car for 8 years and fill it up all the time, It has NEVER gone beyond 13 gallons, so impossible for it to suddenly be "overfilled". Sorry but that is incorrect

its 13 gallons as the CAPACITY but depending on the model you can have a few extra gallons in total space. FULL for your vehicle is 13 gallons, but you CAN overfill it all the way to the top of the gas nozzle. Just saying that it may NOT be a ripoff and it MAY be that you were over filling the tank. You might want to check that out BEFORE you start calling a ripoff.
