Being involved Ina traffic accident sucks. It drains resources and takes time. Back in December I was involved in an accident. Rather than going through my insurance and paying the deductible it seemed more cost effective to use the resources of a new mechanic I met by the name of John Clarke who owns Mobile Monkeys.

John was very prompt when he wanted money. He shows up says the job is 600 so I pay him upfront. He sets a date for the car to be fixed then backs off. Each time the excuses get more elaborate. And a month goes by still no work on the car yet, this little dude still has my money.

I call, and call, nothing. He's diverting calls avoiding me etc.

Now it's time to take legal action but here's where the trick is. He's a mobile mechanic therefore giving him a sipina is going to be costly and prolonged.

Four months later you're d**n right I got my car fixed.

This guy is. Rip off just another shade tree mechanic. If you look his company up he has bogus stars. His business is unethical. He is an unethical man and should have is business license revoked.

He failed to do work and for that failure I am unable to comment on his work ethic.

On 12/16/2012 I was involved in a minor traffic accident. My car needed body work performed on it. I call John. He asses the damage at $600 and asks for half. I give him $300 and he says it will take about two weeks to get parts and perform the work.

Two weeks goes by and John agrees to meet and "Reasses" the damage on the car for another $300. I agree foolishly and give him the $300. He looks at the car and says give hime about another couple of weeks.

The time frame expires and now he is hardley answering my calls. Im $600 in with no work performed and this guy wont answer my calls. "Whats the deal?"

I do eventually get a hold of him a few times and he is making the kinds of excuses do not make with their clients. I eventually get him to agree to give me $200 back and he does, explaining he will get the other $400 to me when he can.  I was frustrated but willing to work to get my money back. 5 more months go by.

We are now in June and nothing has been done to return my money. I go to his address listed and meet with his dad explaining my concerns. The next day I get a call from John. He agrees to put new breaks on my car and return $200 more dollars, and we both agree that would allow me to break even on the vehicle.

The work is performed and both parties go about their business. From expierence, the customer service was poor, the work was par, and the expierence was bad. My advice when working with John as a client is to use caution.
