Stan Weill D.V.M lied about the condition my cat was in. He than administered 14 tests on my cat. He told me that my cat was critically ill. He than gave my cat a rabies shot and disregaurded the package warning that said it was life threatning to give to a sick animal. He than gave my cat Digitalis and Diazepan which were both toxic to cats. All I wanted was taste inhancers for the cat and he said he never heard of them but charged me for them on the bill. All my cat had was fleas. All the tests he did were without my permission. Two days and a $1,000 later my cat was and cremated also without my permission

I can not personally rebutt the previous grievance but, I can state that, in the 10 plus years I have been a client of Dr Weill, I have been nothing but overly impressed by his treatment of my animals. He treated both of them for life threatening illnesses on seperate occasions and dealt with it in a professional and caring manner. Both animals in his care lived long, fulfilling lives. The oldest one at age 17, I just had to put down and as I write this under a sadness that any pet owner can realate to, I can honestly say that he did everything he could to help my pets.

In my opinion, Dr. Weill is a very caring, knowledageable, compasionate doctor.  I can not bellieve that he would in any way, endanger the life of any animal.  Quite to the contrary, I believe he would do all he could in his power to see that a pet was cared for in the best possible way.

Bad Vibe

I am so sorry about your cat! I went to this place to see if they could come to the home to draw blood. I was told no. Um, isn't this a mobile vet? They said they only do routine visits at home. What if you go to do a routine visit and need to draw blood? Staff was defensive and I had a very bad vibe about this place. After reading this review I am SO THANKFUL I never went to this "vet." My advice to you is that you should file a complaint with the state vet board. http://www.ct.gov/dph/lib/dph/practitioner_licensing_and_investigations/plis/inv/petition_form.pdf

Read online reviews before you go to any vet! There is another one in town you should stay away from!

I have been bringing my assorted pets to the Mobile Veterinary Clinic for 18 years and have only the best things to say about this doctor and the clinic.  They have always been honest, reputable and caring and I would recommend them to anyone.

I'm speaking out because I think it is terrible that one crackpot with a cat that died is besmirching the reputation of a fine Veterinary Hospital that has always exhibited the highest integrity in their business practices.

My entire family uses this Vet and so do my neighbors.  Among every one of us we have never had a bad experience, or have ever heard of a negative word spoken about Dr. Weill.  No matter how bad the news may be about the health of one of my pets, this doctor has always been completely truthful and given me choices about the treatments available.
