Received a call from someone stating they were from Ricoh copier. Called to inform us that the toner prices were going up and wanted to see if we needed more toner before the enw prices went up - they wanted to guarantee us toner for the older price versus the newer price. Stated we did not need toner. They said they could keep one on hand for us at the old price. Said that was fine. On 3/20/13 a package arrived with toner inside and an invoice of $587.19 for the toner. Staff did not know about this - signed for it

There is a company that is claiming that deal about the toner. I am friends with a woman that had a similar issue. She didn't confirm any payments over the phone because she knew once there is a contract with Ricoh we would never change anything with the contract over the phone. Never approve something like over the phone. The account representatives will contact your company directly or set up a face to face meeting and negotiate anything else that was solidified in your contract. Ricoh is such a large company I guess this company felt they could get away with it. But Ricoh itself doesn't do business like that.
