Brought my 2015 Pathfinder SL. to Nissan of Concord , NC (Selling Dealer) on 3/31 for warranty service and picked up vehicle on 4/6. Picked up vehicle assuming all was well. On the way home my wheels were shaking upon a quick stop on the highway. Met my wife in Columbia and followed her home behind Pathfinder. Pathfinder was blowing white smoke out of exhaust. Upon reaching home, checked oil, level it was three inches or more above full mark. (Whoever serviced my vehicle extremely overfilled the oil. (with oil overfilled, vehicle was blowing white smoke out of the exhaust. They also torqued my rotors by over tightening wheel bolts causing wheels and steering wheel to shutter when stopping. (There were no issues prior to this) . Pathfinder was spewing white smoke out of exhaust. (This can destroy an engine, piston rings, crankshaft, etc) Also my wheels were rotated and someone who tightened wheels to the point of torquing. my rotors. Symptoms (front wheels vibrating and steering wheel shaking). Called Chris Blalock, Director of Service. Informed me over filling oil was highly unlikely as was torquing my rotors. Vehicle has not been driven since 4/6. Corporate Sales Manager of Modern Automotive Group. is David Fowler out of Winston-Salem, NC. ( I have tried to call and left a message). Called Heath on 4/15, he has said to bring vehicle to another Nissan dealer. No dealer is going to fix another dealers mess up , nor take responsibility for problems. I know vehicles, when changing oil if it calls for 5 quarts of oil, that is what I put in the vehicle. I don't appreciate being told it's my imagination. All information on Google points to this type of screw-up destroys an engine. (Destruction of rings, crankshaft, etc. Leaving one with a worthless vehicle. I now have a new vehicle sitting in my driveway, totally useless. I gave this dealer raving reviews at one time, now I wouldn't recommend Nissan of Concord to anyone. As, they damage your vehicle and blow you off in the process. NEW

Modern Nissan of Concord Resolved My Issues to my Complete Satisfaction

I had my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL flatbedded to Modern Nissan of Concord, NC. from Columbia, SC. today 05/10/2107.

What had happened to my 2015 Pathfinder SL (overfilling oil) was an unfortunate oversight, by a mehanic.

Upon arriving at Modern Nissan of Concord, NC. they drained out 10+ quarts of oil from my vehicle.

Finding this issue (possibly due to a mechanic jumping between tasks a problem occured that was not intentional.

just a mistake!

After finding this unfortuneate problem, The staff of Modern Nissan of Concord, all concerned ,parties worked with me to resolve my issues with great concern.

The individuals were David F.(Executive Staff),  Chris B.(Service Director) and Buddy H. (Sales Manager).

We worked out multiple resolutions that we discussed at length!

The final resolution I accepted was a purchase of a 2017 Pathfinder SL.

This final descision was left entirely to me.

I feel that all parties mentioned above went to great lengths to satisfy me and I laud all parties involved and thank them all!

I would rate this treatment at a 10+ and feel my initial reaction was a bit harsh. For that i apologize!

If the initial report can't be removed, please allow this rebuttal to correct my initial respose.

i also ask the dealer to add a rebuttal to further correct the initial impact.

Thank you to all above for everything you did.

Respectfully

NormW of Columbia.
