Modern nu skin Renuvaderm riped me off big time Internet
In January I responded to an internet advertisement from Modernnuskin or Renuvaderm. They were advertising two cosmetic for shipping only. One was $5.95 and $4.95. When I gave them my card number, I did not realize they were going to charge me $94.57 for one and 89.47 for the products.
When they came I opened the products and I set them aside, for I still was not quite through with the one I have used for years.
About 3 weeks later I started using the product. After about three or four days it started burning my face. I tried it for a couple of more days and my face broke out all over. After about a week ot so my face cleared and I tried it again. I have never been allergic to any thing on my face before, so I thought I would give it another try. Well it started burning again. So I quite using it.
I was headed for the grocery store, so I thought I would contact Renuvaderm when I got back home. I stopped at the mail box on my way out and there was another box of products from them in the mail. So I just stopped by the postoffice on my way to the grocery store and sent it back.
When I called them they told me I did not responded in a timely manner for a refund. I also could not get a refund on the second package because I did not call them and get a number from them to send the package back. If I had been able to use the product this wouldn't have bothered me, for I would have used it. But since I can't use it, it really upsets me.
I am now out $94.57 x2, 89.47 x2 plus 10.90 for postage. The postage doesn't bother me as much as the $368.08 they took from me and I can't even use the product. It is hard on seniors to have any extra money, so I bought this out of my craft show money, now I my not have enough money for supplies for my shows this fall.
I think its wrong for companies to do things like this. Had I been informed of the return policy ahead of time I would not have order till I was ready to use it. I don't think I will be ordering on the internet unless I'm totally sure of the product and the company. I hope this story will possibly help someone else save them money
