Complaint Review: Modesto Mitsubishi

In june of 2002 we were lied to by modesto mitsubishi to get us down there to buy a car they were offering the 0 down 0 payments and 0 interest I called to see what the catch was and to make sure that we qualified for this.

We were informed that all we had to do at the end of our term was to come up with some money and refinance. so we decided that this seemed like a good deal andwent down all of asudden we were told we needed 2000 dollars to put down.

I told them we dont have this right now we will come back the manager said that this deal would not be here any more if we came back in 2 weeks and asked us to us a credit card I said absoulutly not we will come back.

He then said ok no $ down no payments for 9 months we asked how much is this car going to cost us he smiled and walked away then came back and told us ok u bought a car.

We did not know how much the car was until we got to the sighning of the papers they would not tell us and rushed us through everything we were told to refiance at the end of our term with golden one credit union as a used car.

Well you cant do that they only finance high blue book we also tried several other banks and they turned us downbecause the car is worth only 20,000 and we owe 33,000.

Everyperson at the dealership that we talked to told us put 3,000 down when u refianance you have great credit and will have no problems well its a huge problem we now pay 775$ a month and hate the car they also told us that they would put a 3rd seat in for us and that wasnt true either.

Trying to email to see what they say about them refinancing and no word yet how can they get away with lieing to get u there and lieing to get u to buy a car.
