MODULAR PRODUCTS INSULCRETE TOOK MY ORDER AND PAYMENT AND DISAPPEARED ripped off and scammed screwed others too slime-ball DesMoines Iowa
The end of November,2002 my company ordered a concrete foundation system,know as insulcrete, Lou Scropiniti identified himself as a owner of the company, made promises of deliverery and later a refund.WHICH NEVER HAPPENED!
After many follow up calls/faxes/e-mails, A man calling himself Rikel Hoffman,called and said LOu wasnt a owner and he was, and gave me a alledged home phone number, in hopes of reassuring my company of our refund,Guess what, never no answer! My company wired $2,300.00 which was required of us, and was made many promises, leaving our customer without a foundation all winter, to the point we had to cover the cost of conventional block foundation,Winter is a hard enough time in our field, without being ripped off and lied too.
My company contacted the Iowa Atty.General, who claimed thier office couldnt do anything, My question is, who can then?, THis has to be ileagal to decieve someone and steal $2,300.00 and just up and disappear.To date we have heard nothing,with others on some web sites also claiming to have been taken the same way by this company, one person claims, they have changed the company name to SYSTEM-1 CONCRETE SKIRTING. i DONT KNOW, BUT SURE WOULD LIKE SOME HELP IN GETTING OUR MONEY BACK.
