I also ordered a product from this company and only had to pay $4.79 shipping & handling charges. I was under the impression that I had 14 days to try the product, and if I wasn't satisfied I could return it and no other charges would apply.

My bank account was debited on 2/14/06 for the $4.79 S&H, but I didn't even receive the product until 2/17/06. On 2/24/06, my account was debited for $44.95, the cost of the product. This seemed rather strange to me, since the time frame was less than what was stated.

Imagine my surprise when, on 3/3/06, I discovered that an additional $53.93 had been debited from my bank account! I called Momentum that day and spoke with a woman named Casey. I told her that I did not want any more of their product and insisted that my unauthorized membership be discontinued immediately. I told her that I did not like the product that I had been sent and would be returning it for a refund.

She told me that the refunds were running about 30 days. I reported this company to the Better Business Bureau in Houston on 3/16/06. I received an email from them on 3/27, along with a reply from Momentum.

They replied that the product I returned had been received on 3/20/06 and was being processed for a refund, which would be received (by me) within 2 weeks of the return date.

On April 14th, I called Momentum and told them that I still had not received my refund. I spoke with David Beeson, the owner of the company. He told me that the check was scheduled to go out on the 17th.

On April 27th, I finally received my check, but it is not the correct amount. I have tried to call the number all morning, but the line is busy.

These people are running a scam and need to be shut down.
