Money Tree Mortgage ripoff - guaranteed a home loan, sent in 300 dollars, made excuse after excuse Olathe Kansas
i was approved for a loan from Money tree mortgage in 2003. Mr. Marino Riley was my contact. Was told to send in 300.00 via western union.I talked with lots of people there. Angela was one of them. She was suppose to be the underwriter. the only underwriter.
Every time i called it was a different story, can't find your records, have new sales person, new underwriter, underwriter is sick. I was even set a title company and a man named Brian was suppose to come and do an appraisal. I never had him come.
it has been almost a year, and i have not heard from my new person repreenting me ( Debbie). Randy the so called owner is never in the office. I have even talked with his mother Sandy?( i think that is her name). The mother works there
help i want my money back. It has cost the home that i was to purchase so now i am back to square one.

KS Attorney General did nothing
#2Consumer Suggestion

We were ripped off in much the same manner as all the rest on this post, and filed a complaint with the BBB and the Kansas Attorney General's office. The AG's office apparently felt MoneyTree did nothing wrong.
However, they have since been flooded with similar complaints. Perhaps what is in order is a class action suit, if someone has the time and money to file one.
