I was contacted by a gentleman about a program called Money 4 Life. I got this phone call by clicking on a rent to own site. It all sounded really good. They would charge me $59.95 a month for money coaching and a website to use. I had to sign a document stating what I would pay and to get access to the website. My problem is I called to ask to cancel because of financial hardship. But I was told according to the contract that I signed that I would have to pay around  $350 to get out of the contract. I asked that even if one can't  pay due to hardship, they would do that. I also said that it seemed funny that a company that is supposed to be in the service of helping, that this seemed unfair. I was told by Renee of the resolution department that I should know better that when signing the contract that I was obligated to pay no matter what. She continued to inform me that when you sign a contract with any other you are expected to pay and they are no different. She was very condescending too. Treated me like a child. To be honest, I was never instructed that I would have to pay $350 to get out of the contract in he beginning. All I was told in the beginning was to sign up now for that monthly payment of $59.95 because they couldn't offer it to me later. You see, I first told them I wanted to talk to my husband. But they didn't want me to wait. So, I went for it. Not a good idea. (amy3335@gmail.com)
