I tried to get information from this company regarding the complaints already lodged against them. Following are the emails...

I wrote...You've had over 30 complaints thru the San Antonio BBB. BBB says your address is a drop box and does not know where the company is actually located. How can I trust that this is notjust another scam?

Their response...The BBB treats member companies (those that pay LARGE annual fees every year to be"members" differently than they treat companies that don't pay the fees. Our address is not a 'drop box'. We use a mailing service because -- get ready for a big scandal -- we all work at home. We do not publish the personal private addresses of our staff and their families on the internet and we do not provide them to the Better Business Bureau because their privacy practices are extremely poor. The BBB's methods of "protecting" consumers are highly suspect. Real scams that hide their names and addresses, or change them frequently, have great records with the BBB. Companies like ours, real companies like ours that use the same company name and address and phone number for many years -- and who do not hide their name and address -- receive complaints as a natural part of being in business. Some of our complaints were from people who never ordered our service, or who were angry because we refused to take their order, or were from competitors.

The BBB apparently makes no distinction between a real complaint and a false or frivolous one. Thank you for your email. We understand your concerns. For more information about the Better Business Bureau you may be intersted in a website called There is also more information about site and we'll be happy to answer any other questions that you may have. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know. Thank you. Abbie Nielsen's team CUSTOMER SERVICE http://www.moneyfromhome.com ABILI-STAFF, Ltd. A Proud Texas Limited Partnership

I looked at the website they recommended, then wrote...Thank you for your email. I looked at the website you recommended only to find four more complaints saying that you are indeed a scam. As a fellow Texan, I hope you are not. Please reply.

Their astonishing reply...Thanks for your email.

One of the things that we deal with every day is the healthy concerns of people who are rightfully cautious about work at home opportunities. We have worked very hard and have been very successful at being a company that most consumers can recognize as a respectable company worthy of their confidence. The national media has also recognized our company as one that they can enthusiastically recommend to millions of viewers, listeners and readers.

But it is clear from your email that, despite all of the information about our company that you've had access to, you remain distrustful of us. That's okay! Working at home is not for everyone and using our service is not for everyone.

Please don't order our service. A business relationship
in which trust and respect do not exist can't prove
beneficial to either one of us.

We are sorry we were not able to help you but we offer you our very best wishes in your ongoing search for legitimate home-based employment.

Thank you.

FTC sent me a check for lawsuit

I had forgotten that I had paid the fee to this company several years ago, probably about 2005 and found no work at all.  My house flooded so I just forgot about it.  Today I got a whopping $8.00 check from the the FTC as part of a suit filed by the FTC against this company for what the FTC said was worthless leads and denying access to their website until the time on the customer' access fee had expired.  Those are the FTC's words more or less not mine.  So if the FTC filed suit, make your own judgment.
