moneygram and walmart purchased 25$MONEYGRAM ORDER & filled out for a dr bill already paid in full. wanted a new 1 reissued or refunded. have all original everything. followed moneygram instructions to write not intended missoula, Montana
i purchassed a 25.oo$ money order 10/01/12 along with several others. i ended up not needing to submit this order to my dr. (pay to the order) due to my bill being zero. wanted a new one reissued or refunded so i cud use that $ for other expenses. followed instructions from money gram to write not intended for purpose on the back when i returned to walmart (place of purchase) i have all original order, stub and recpt of transaction yet was given zero help other than a rude mngr telling me to call money gram.
i asked her to call. she did and said they were closed but i had to submit a claim form w a 15.oo$ service fee for a lost order before they would decide to refund me or reissue a new order for 25.00$. shud take 6-8 wks. its outragous and time consuming rip off to pay over half of the cost of my order just to have anew one reissued. or refunded. why would i file a claim when i have all original orders, stubs and wlamart recpt so i cud have a new one reissued and cud use. a claim for what? and to charge over half the cost of the order itself for an unnessasry "claim" is outragous and ridiculas. it is not lost, damaged, stolen - mearly filled out to a wrong pay to order of? i can edit a check and initial it. what a giagantic illegal scam.
i will never use moneygram again. i'd rather pay a friend to write a check for me if needed. seeing as no one accepts cash anymore? i will not be submitting any claim and will be getting my 25$ reissue order come hell or high water.
