Monitronics International RIPOFF Lying, failure to fulfill contractual commitment, threaten credit rating, refusal to acknowledge, address and repair their erros Dallas Texas
Never hire Monitronics. This disreputable company is the most dishonest, stupid, poorly run, collection of malicious, ignorant morons I've ever had the misfortune to be associated with. Monitronics values threats, lies, manipulation and deception over providing any acceptable level of customer service and refuses to honor its commitments to its customers.
After two years of faithfully paying this company, they refused to fulfill their contractual obligation to move my security system to my new home. Instead of providing this service, WHICH I PAID FOR, they proceeded to insist on charging my family for this FREE move. When I refused, they tried to extend my service agreement, at which point they would then provide the FREE move I was already guaranteed. I refused. More lying and attempts at manipulation ensued from Monitronics, to try to save themselves for actually meeting their own obligations. Monitronics was informed that they would not be paid until they got in compliance with the contract.
To this date, more than one year later, Monitronics has only proceeded to threaten to ruin my credit rating with form letters and harrassing phone calls and has not yet once actually addressed their failure to comply with our contract, despite numerous letters, phone calls and even the assistance of the Better Business Bureau. They just don't care. Instead of fulfilling their obligations, Monitronics would rather threaten their customers. These lying, duplicitous morons deserve nothing but contempt and their rightful failure in the marketplace. Their astoundingly poor customer service, management and sales techniques should be a beacon to all honest businesses on how NOT to treat their best, most reliable paying customers.
Spread the word and help them fail. Never do business with Monitronics International and tell everyone you know. A dishonest security company? What could possibly be more inane and undesirable?

To be fair. This company has the potential to be a great company. There are great employees working there, they have the fastest response time in the industry and business is booming. All of these are characteristics for a great company. However he who has the gold makes the rules. This company is being run by a single person. A very greedy person. The objective for this person is to make money. Lie, cheat, steal, as long as it ends up in one place, his bank account.
There is no respect for employees. Stupid rules are continually being created. Some examples are No pictures in your work area, no coats in the back of your chairs, leave your cell phones in your vehicle. There is no respect for customers either. If you call this company, it is not uncommon to hold for 20-30 minutes before speaking to an agent. P.S. to cxl your account the magic words are LAWYER and ATTORNEY GENERAL. A great company is run by a great CEO. A great CEO undurstands the needs of his customers. This guy does not or doesnt care. I felt dirty working for this company. Great customer service was expected however no "tools" were givin to us.
Most companies back up their employees if they promise the customer something, regardless of what it is, realisticly speaking. This company does not.
Dont take it out on the employees that work there, they cant do anything for you. The way people at the top of this company operate is so intricately designed to favor the company on money matters, It is short of genius.
