Complaint:
My Alarm broke. I called several times for service which never occured.I was out of service for a month yet was billed. I had to contact an independent installer to diagnose the problem then I had to order the parts and repair the system myself.

I called to cancel my service agreement (as I had signed up with another provider in order to get service). Monitronics was unresponsive and refused to cancel my service. They indicated that they would send me a copy of my contract and reverse service charges. They were going to "reseach" the situation and get back to me but it's been several weeks and I've heard nothing.

I've left several messages with the director of cust. service (Linda Banks) who said she'd look into the situation. They've failed to resolve my situation, they've failed to satisfy me as a client and they continue to abuse my time and effort without a response or clairification AND they continue to bill me for service I'm getting from a better (and cheaper) company that makes house calls to service my system vs. ignoring my situation.
