I ordered 12 Stefie Bar Stools this month (12/08) @ $164.00 each that shows a single foot rest in the front of the stool on the website. When I received my order, they send a stool with a horseshoe foot rest instead that needed to be secure using a small screw in all four corners. Maybe its Barstool Supercenter fault (Monster Bar Stool do not have Stefie and Barstool Supercenter shows Stefie with a front foot rest) for not changing or updating the correct picture of Stefie. In any case, I raise the issue of safety of this furniture.

First, four holes of the horseshoe foot rest do not align properly with the stool. There machines just put holes on the stools and nobody check if they will align properly to the horseshoe foot rest. Second, if your lucky enough to put them together, you stamp on the foot rest and it will fell-off, because only a small screw hold the foot rest and the stools. Third, the two end of the horseshoe foot rest protrude at the back about an inch which might and can cause injury as it did not have a safety rubber to cover that stainless steel edge.

The owner of Monster Bar Stools, a sweet lady and very nice, tried everything she could to return it to Eurostyle Manufacturer @ 2165 East Francisco Blvd. Suite E San Rafael CA 94901....Attn: Matt...but she was told that they will charge me $516.00 re-stocking fee plus shipping....That is there no hassle return policy? They send me the wrong order with a safety issue and all I'm asking is a replacement of my orders but they are asking too much to get it back.....EUROSTYLE COMPANY DO NOT WORK WELL WITH CONSUMER and I'm warning everyone to be careful when buying there products.

The customer called us and we were not showing this product our site at the time. He asked for a price and we quoted the stool. The customer did not see this a stool on our website. He saw it on barstoolsupercenter.com. He received the stool and did not like the footrest. The stool he actually wanted with the other footrest was a different stool entirely. He ordered and confirmed the Steffie Stool by Eurostyles. The footrest he wanted came on the Stella Stool. He actually needed these stools for a commercial environment and we do not guarantee them in writing for that use. The stool is not a safety hazard at all for consumer use. We stand behind all our products and had he been sent the incorrect stool, we would have returned them free of charge without a question. I have personally reviewed the actual emails from the customer to our call center requesting and confirming the Steffie Stool. The customer kept the stools because he received what he ordered and in that case the manufacturer does charge a restocking fee and return shipping. We do not get any of these fees. We have a very clear return policy and procedures on our website and are always glad to help anyone at any time. Feel free to call me directly at 931-309-7051.
