Monster Cable Product destroy my TV, and they refused to honor their warrenty Brisbane, California
Purchased Monster Screen Clean from Future Shop. Used on my Plasma TV and it ruined the screen. Sent in request for warrenty claim. Sent in Product (refused to send back), The denied it was their product and said I should have checked my manuel. Their product Monster Screen Clean clearly states on both the product and web site Safe for ALL tv's.

yep, should not have been so upset. i just do not like being called names by nasty people. I did find the Monster Manual and you are quite correct, it does indicate that one should check the tv manal. However, I did find the following on the website and it does recomend use on Plasma TV's. Here is the link. http://www.monstercable.com/productdisplay.asp?pin=4186. I appreciate your calm demeanor. i do wish you a great day. I do agree however there are a lot of things both sides could have done bette. I have asked my insurance if they cover stupid, and will wait and see. Once again, have a great day, and do not hate our neighbors to the south at all.

So, you were not only able, but actually took the time to read the "small print" on the product's label, but couldn NOT take the time to read the "small print" in your OWNER'S MANUAL ??? Give me a break, you liar. You're just lazy and ignorant, plain and simple. And you have now paid the price for your ignorance. HA HA HA HA !!
So..... now you have a ruined plasma. Would you care to expound on exactly WHO'S fault it is ???? Well, lo and behold it's YOURS, you idiot, for NOT reading the manual !!! In fact, I could just about guarantee that you can't even FIND your manual, if it wasn't thrown away with the packaging ( which it most likely was ).
And, by the way, your stroke had nothing to do with it, so don't even try placing the blame there. However, if you are anywhere near as pathetic as you make yourself out to be, I'd LOVE to see you try to punch ANYONE in the nose, you lying old fool.

Calm down, eh, Canucky boy! You're sounding like a typical American hating Canadian.
I just looked that product up on Monster's website and they have both a cautionary disclaimer to check your product manual, and do NOT even mention plasma.
Your complaint, if any, ought to be directed at the website you purchased from, Future Shop, because they took it upon themselves to specify plasma, add that warranty stuff, and to leave out the caution disclaimer.
Your stroke is not an excuse to blame a company for something they were not at fault for.
You could have had someone else read whatever needed to be read for you.
I will say, however, that its disingenuous of Monster to market such a product when probably many owner manuals will advise against using it.

Sir, and I use the term loosely. Before you castigate someone you might want to know the circumstances. I have had a stroke, and can barely read. The manual is in writing to small for me to read. I would love to meet you in person so I could punch you in the nose. I depended on the product website that it was safe for use on all tv's. Yes, I could have checked with the TV company, however, I have a hard enough time just getting by day to day. I hope you have a nice day and nobody puts you down just because they can. You also might want to move out of your mothers basement. You are imature, nasty, mean, and uncaring of others. Grow up yankee boy.

I put the screen clean on the cloth as instructed and proceeded to try and clean the screen on my tv. I took off the top layer.

Yep, just like most fools who buy costly products, you never read your MANUAL ( not manuel ), did you. Mine PLAINLY states to only use a DRY CLOTH to clean the screen, as any knowledgeable plasma owner knows. Now you have successfully ruined your plasma's screen. It's no one's fault but YOURS, is it ?? What an idiot you are.

Just curious, how, exactly, did it ruin your screen?

Most cleaners of this type are basically purified water, wetting agents and some minor cleaners.

"I should have checked my manuel"
Manuel is the kid that mows my lawn. Why would they tell you to check with him?
