I had a charge on my credit card from "monstr.com". When I looked at it the first time I read it as monster.com, as in the job web site. So I called up monster, and the customer service representative clarified the difference, and actually gave me a number to contact them.

I called and I spoke with someone there that told me I had signed up for some adult membership. I remembered getting some e-mail previously, that had informed me of this, stating, if I remember correctly, that it was registered through Ibill.

When I called Ibill, they said there was no such membership and to disregard the e-mail. I told all of this to the monstr costomer service representative, and he said that he couldn't remove the first charge on the card, but he could remove the second charge, wich had just occurred. He gave me a confirmation number to verify that the charge had been removed. When I checked my card, the charge had indeed been removed. But in my next month's statment the charge was there again, and I no longer have the number I used to contact them, as I thought I wouldn't need it.

At any rate, I apologize for the length of this statement, but I wanted to give you an acurate assesment of the situation. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
