We ordered a Marlette Home from Montana Homes of Belgrade and it was delivered to our prepared site. After a very poor installation, we found several problems that Montana Homes have been unwilling to fix or repair.

1. Water connections to "guest" bathroom were backwards, hot water connected to comode. - Repaired myself.

2. Interior doors out of adjustment, will not stay closed - Repaired myself.

3. French door improperly installed, one side not flush with outside wall - Repaired myself. Screen was damaged upon arrival, set-up crew said thay would order new one, as of 11-6-02, has not been ordered from the factory.

4. Master bath shower door leaks - unable to repair.

5. Cupboard door cracked.- 4 months later - has not been replaced.

6. Set-up crew was told to leave extra shingles, they took them, manager was contacted, no action yet.

7. Because of a hassle with "home inspector" from lendor, Montana Homes of Belgrade was to tie down ends of home to foundation, promised by 7/4/02 NOT DONE - I had to complete in a very short time to satisfy "Home Inspector"

8. Missing part of Entertainment Center shelf - no action

9. Complained of several dry wall cracks - some fixed some not.

10. Promises promises promises - not fulfilled.

11. Factory can not even get owners name right on warranty due to dealer giving incorrect information.

12. Warranty cards on home missing from home owners packet.

13. Set-up crew left off all of the sewer trap covers and insulation. We were told that it wasn't anything to fix them, all WE needed was a small piece of board to cover them. Why should WE need to do this

IF YOU BUY A HOME FROM THIS DEALER, HOLD BACK 10% OF PURCHACE PRICE UNTIL THEY COMPLETE WORK PROMISED! Or you probably will not ever see a service man.
