Complaint Review: Montana Muscle Cars Nathan Wratislaw

Montana Muscle Cars Nathan Wratislaw I arrived at the Highway 93 location in Stevensville Montana from Canada. I spoke to the ex wife of Nathan Wratislaw who spoke to Nathan on the phone. I made an offer and to my surprise they said the price is now 18,000 dollars which is 4,000 dollars more than we discussed. It is advertised at 13,999 dollars. No one deals like this except dishonest ones. Stevensville Montana

I'm R. S and I met Sam WRATISLAW after a back and forth correspondence on the  email concerning the Internet advertisement for a 76 TA. I arrived on August 2 in Stevensville Montana Muscle Motors from Canada. Sam called her ex husband on the phone when I tried to buy a 76 Trans AM car. He lives in San Diego apparently. I asked proper questions about the title and a bill of sale and then I made an offer 1000 dollars less than the 13999 dollar asking price. I made the offer to recoup what I paid for a rental truck and car carrier to take to Stevensville Montana intent on buying the 76  SE transam. If necessary.

I would pay full price. Imagine my surprise when the price now increased 4000 dollars and there was no documentation such as title or history . Remember the term slick snake used car salesperson? The motor vehicle was not as advertised. The VIN and dash were really damaged. I couldn't make out the vin, maybe moved from the dash I was checking the secondary location when seller returned to the yard we were in that was full of Transams in different states of wreck. The vehicle Sam stated was outside for ten years. The photos on the internet were of a motor vehicle that was   possibly worth the asking price. Said vehicle was missing all kinds of engine parts and the windshield was busted. That was not in the description. I was led to believe on the phone that some gas stabilizer etc and then turn the engine over would be required as the engine was rebuilt. Well there was dirt in the intake manifold. There is no carburetorr or hood scoop just a garbage coverin the open intake and hood. For the price and the body condition I still imagined a go of restoring the car. Seller indicated it was a restoration project and that cars of this type sell for 90000 dollars when completed Oh yeah and the tires and rims are not included. Who sells a car like that. To pay 18000 dollars for a wreck would require 30000 dollars to bring it to regular driver.

Condition The 90000 dollar level is unrealistic for most enthusiasts. I could buy for 29000 dollars a fine example of the same motor vehicle. For example a SE was advertised and still advertised in the next state and looks great for 29000. The next level was 40000 that I have seen. Oh Yeah I also stated I was a retired cop. I brought the tow vehicle to conclude business, but they were not able to take advantage of me and  did not want to do business with me. When I got home I checked both of the WRATISLAWs on Internet. People need to to stay away from them and do not attempt to buy a motor vehicle or anything from them according to the numerous complaints.  II would accurately characterize them as very shady. It's buyer beware. I incurred some expenses to try and return the motor vehicle the same day I dealt with WRATISLAW at least I wasn't ripped off.
