MY ckecking acount was charged 39.99 for monterstar on my husbands visa/checkcard twice. The charge showed up on my monthly statements for December of 2002 and january 2003, it showed up on the statement montsrcom.

We had no idea what it was for because neither of us bought anything from that company. So i looked it up on the internet and tried to get iformation.

It said (" We provide the most accessible and convenient Customer Service processing center by offering many different contact options, including e-mail, worldwide Internet access via our fully functioning and interactive website, and 24 hour, 7 days a week Customer Service call center. Our friendly Customer Service staff is highly trained and is able to handle a wide variety of merchants. Thus, allowing us to tailor to the needs of each merchant")

My husband and I do not need such a service.So I looked up acount information they needed the card number and email addrress but it said the number was invalled.I called the 1888 number she said she couldn't give me any info on the acount.

I told her the we did not need this service or agree to pay for it and i had no idea or very little idea of what it was till now. She then said I could cancel the acount.She said my husband has to call her to find out any info , but he didn't order this service.

I called my bank and had them cancel our card and filled out a fraudulent report.
