After spending over $4,000.00 for trees and plants and receiving very disappointing service I decided I would write a report. First, if you are looking to buy plants stay away from this place! I paid 1300.00 more than I should have compared to other local nurseries(not Home Depot). I was naive to believe the sales person who only cared to up sell me on everything and not listen to what i needed/wanted.

After going back a few times to exchange out trees/plants becuase i would realize I got bigger trees then i originally wanted- the sales guy would make comments like: "oh, you wont be happy with that tree" or " that wont look as good as the bigger tree." So, luckily I exchanged out 2 of the "way to big" trees to smaller ones but I still have 2 others that do not fit my yard. I am very upset that I let that happen to myself. The sales guy was very friendly and likable... I just trusted what he said and then later would regret what I bought. Thats why I would keep going back to swap/exchange for other plants or tree sizes.

Second- After a few delivery errors and a broken fence from their crew I was supposed to receive a pygmy palm and a bamboo plant for compensation.

I had previously returned 2 bamboos because after one week the leaves turned brown(yes, I watered) and only 1 out of the 3 bamboos I bought was healty. They had the nerve to send me back one of the same bamboos I had returned.

I will never shop this nursery again. Do not believe them when they tell you they have the healthiest tress and the best prices.

As the owner of Moon Valley Nurseries, I'd like to personally apologize about the experience you had with our one of our locations. We've always guaranteed the best quality trees and plants along with the best services available in the industry. We serve thousands of customers every month and I do realize that my company would not exist if it weren't for our reputation and the trust of our clients.  

Without any specific information (address, phone number etc.) in your complaint to go on, I can't contact you directly and we can't research this issue further so I'd like to see if I can resolve this matter with you personally.
