Moosebuger camp TRICIA MANUEL the laugh is on us, as Tricia goes to the bank, Internet

LAW IS MY HOBBY. So when I looked into this clown school I saw what others missed. My first question is how can they hold this at a catholic retreat in BUFFALO. She says ''most people go to moose camp without religion coming up at all''.I Thought a non profit was to be used for that purpose of the non profit in this case for religous retreat. So No religion  can not be right.

Then there is the Dealer room where you can get items like clown shoes according to MIKE BECVAR REPORT, who attended the school.I thought non profits had to sell stuff at the back that went with the non profit, like bibles, not 800 dollar clown costumes, or 100 face painting kits. Then there is the the staff of 12 people, these people are not enploys, but she has them teaching the classes for a solid week as enploys.

Again according to Mike, these people will be happy to show you there stuff in the dealers room. These people are magic stores, travel agents, facepainter products companys. So  in reality you are paying 900 dollars to go stay at a non profit, to have a week sales pitch. Frankly no  one needs to spend 8oo dollars for a clown costume to be a clown, and for 12 dollars I  can buy facepaints and a book at the local craft store.

I am not opposed to clown school,  I am opposed to a week of sales pitch that I am paying for. She says she aways has her classes at  non profits because they have food and beds, not to  even say how cheap it is for them to hold it there. My  question is how legal is all of this. When I contacted the state  they said this is a IRS  question.Call me old fashion but I thought that CATHOLIC RETREATS , are non profit, and the sales should be for the good of the Church, she is not a non profit last I looked.

SO Here it is, MOOSEBUGER CAMP  seems to be making money on the catholic church, the people she uses as staff that are not , and sells of 800 dollar costumes IN DEALERS ROOMS at a non profit that should be selling bibles. If the catholic church is deceived by her to think she is training these people for a good purpose so they have opend the doors to her, HAVING A WEEK SALES PTCH TO BUY EXPENSE STUFF IS NOT what Christ was all about,I don;t want to speak for him , but I THINK HE had this problem in the bible and he did what you should do, He threw them out.

Peace camp or vendor fair

Tricia Manuel is saying that her staff are good friends that have come together to teach her camp, all 12. I am Not a attorney but I believe  when a business has an exemp purpose like the Catholic Church Retreat were they hold it,the clown group must contribute to accomplish that purpose. Since all your friend, staff are coming from different states, and they are not  employees I think they must stay with the purpose, the mission of the retreat. The purpose of the Catholic retreat would be peace in the clown work. Now how does selling people 800 dollar costumes and professinal face paints  that are really expensive and magic supplys help the church to promote Peace, in keeping with their  purpose. An activity does not lose identity because it is conducted at a exemp location. So they are still business, selling Very expensive goods. In my opinion if you and your friends want to come together at a  tax exemp location and promote peace. Sell 20 dollar clown costumes, better yet donate them to the people to promote Peace.  Or give all the money to the Catholic church on the sales of goods or all the 1000 per 100 student. THAT WOULD PROMOTE PEACE. This is just my opinion. You are a lucky lady that your friends want to help you for a solid week for friendship, not because they are selling in the dealer room or booking travel. So what is it, a peace camp, or a business vendor fair.Your high prices have it confusing for the public. People need to understand they do not need to buy 800 dollar costumes to be a  real clown.

6 DAYS OUR STAFF WILL TEACH YOU

Tricia Manuel, You have no staff.  These people are not employees, yet you treat them as if they are.You are having them over and over the same people, you are setting their schedule, the order of sequence that is to be done, the time, the hour the class, the amount of  hours that they are to do the classes. You have put this all together under your name, and you are responsible for all of them. You advertise them, you are not a  NON PROFIT,  you are not a talent agent, you are not even an unline directory. So what are you. Who gets all this money at 1000 per student, 100 students , thats alot of money and then there is your dealer room. All at a non profit catholic church retreat, that rents out for you to do this. I think the I.R.S needs to take a long look at this, because it all looks really wrong in my personal opinion. You are false advertising and saying these people are your staff. Say what they really are a group of venders coming together to sell there products for 6 days, under the unbrella of a church. They are all venders selling stuff in your dealers room. These poor people are coming to you  and paying 1000 to be sold expensive clown costumes for 800 dollars. In my personal opinion this is one of the biggest rip off ever.

We make real clowns, False advertisment

#6Author of original report

The stuff she is selling does not work. First of all you never see a clown do clown routines at birthday parties. People do not pay for you to do skits, they have 20 kids and they want there faces painted and balloons made, there is your time.  They may hire a magic show, but that is different.  So you are going to go into a hospital and do a  skit, I don't think so, except for free. I wonder how many of her clowns actually make a living at it. Moosebuger clowns are mostly volunteer clowns, trust me when I tell you if you pay 800 dollars to buy one of her customes you are not going to facepaint and wash it every week. Then there is the problem of her full white face make up, that scares the hell out of  most kids, not kid friendly. Real clowns, means to actually be, not counterfeit, in my book this would mean people who actually Get jobs, being a clown, not a volunteer clown. Then there is the question of the prices for the supplys you are buying with her at her dealer room at a Catholic church retreat. From the clown costumes to the face paint, how would you make a profit. Do the math, A real clown  actually works at being a clown, nothing she sells is going to get you jobs, or make a  you a profit, just them. In my opinion it is all illegal , a big sham , a bunch of vendors making a living of of  people who do not no any better. I hope the I.R.S looks at this all real close. TRUST me when I tell you a Real clown actually  Works, gets dirty, gets many jobs, makes a profit, does balloons, facepaints, and does not just sell clown costumes, but serves KIDS. In my opinion these are Not  REAL CLOWNS,  and this is all false advertisment, to sell Expensive costumes you don;t need,  and supplys. That is why her staff all are vendors.

YOU OPENED THE DOOR TO THE PRESS.

So are you saying your school is not held at a catholic church retreat, your site says it is. Are you saying you don;t have a staff of 12, that are not enployees with bios of travel agent, magic shops, facepainting sales. Again your site says you do. Are you saying that MIKE BECVAR REPORT  OF DEALER ROOM is not true, or all the stuff he said about your staff. Are you not a costume sales company that sells your products for 800 dollars. All of this is hard for you to deny, since you have had the press in there, and he has writen all about it they do not have to believe me, they can read his report, again you opened your doors to the press.  YOU ARE A COSTUME STORE, THAT SELLS VERY EXPENSIVE COSTUMES, and basic toilet items are not included, this is on your site also. WHAT PART ABOUT THIS is wrong, its all the stuff that is on your site, and in his report.

Response to Sara in MN

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Thu, October 27, 2011

I am responding to "Sara in MN" comments regarding Mooseburger camp.  After reading her comments, it's clear she did not attend camp.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, as founder of Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp, I would have been personally happy to answer any and all of her questions if she would have contacted me directly, which she did not.  There are too many incorrect statements and assumptions in her comments for me to respond to them all, so I would like to invite Sara, or anyone for that matter, to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.
