Mopar EVTS charges an excessive $50 fee for cancellation of the EVTS service for any reason. There are no exceptions. This fee in unearned and does not promote customer satisfaction in any way.

When I sold my car and no longer needed the service. Mopar EVTS opeaor called me regarding my refund amount and to inform me that there was a $50 fee to cancel.

When I objected saying that the cancellation was not frivolous but due to the fact that I no longer owned the car. The operator informed me the cancellation fee was standard and there are no exceptions. I informed the operator that the fee was exccesive and was not earned as it was their policy not anything of value that was provided to me that they should expect a payment for.

The operator said she was the supervisor. I asked to speak with the person they reported to because a fee for cancellation was not warranted. She informed me that the person over her was not available and forwared me to their voice mail.

I went to the Mopar EVTS web site to find a way to contact customer service in order to sumbit a formal complaint. The web site does not provide or indicate any link or email address or any way to document a written complaint.

Be Aware that if you cancel for any reason prior to your service completion date you WILL be RIPPED OFF for $50 no exceptions.

about the cancellation fee?
This will tell you the likelihood of your complaint being successfully resolved.

Early cancellation fees are usually instituted to assure seller recovers costs of installation and equipment.  I really doubt this is a Ripoff, but part of the agreement YOU made with them
