Moreen Albazii, Ms Lina Tiareh and Doreen Kasim Brodcastwave UK County Court Judgement Against them Perivale Perivale
SETTLEMENT OF RESEARCH HOUSE COURT CASE
As you will recall, after 23 years of happy tenancy at Research House we were obliged to serve a 30 day notice of termination of our numerous offices which we rented there.
Mrs Moreen Albazii, along with Ms Lina Tiareh and Ms Doreen Kasim, then carried out a month long vendetta of revenge tactics by:
….. amongst others.
The keys had to be left with the Receptionist and no refund payments were made by her.
Having been previously advised in writing that we would proceed to legal court action for recovery of the refunds due, nothing was forthcoming.
As a result, we filed a legal action on 4th October for recovery of an amount of £6,999.32 in the UK small claims court.
Moreen then quickly paid on 7th October 2016 the outstanding refund, but without paying the court fees incurred. Her excuse was that she did not know where to send the cheque to.
Further court action was filed against her for recovery of the court fees.
A court hearing was held on 01st March 2017 from 10.00 to 11.15 at Brentford County Court where all parties and witnesses attended.
Having to explain herself, Moreen Albazzi first attempted to tell the judge that she had not received any emails from us as regards the termination notice. She explained that her email address was moreen@broadcastwave.co.uk.
When the judge was told that the email address reception@rhbc.net stands for Research House Business Centre she then admitted that was “the Receptionist’s email” and then, surprisingly, contradicted herself by stating “I receive a copy of every email sent to reception@rhbc.net!”
She then attempted to further bamboozle the judge by stating that we were unruly tenants …, that she had to call the police ……. and so on.
The judge reminded her on three occasions that this had nothing to do with the case in question.
She also told the judge that she, as the owner of Research House, had sold the building and flats had been built. In fact the truth is that the building has not even been demolished yet, not to mention flats having been built yet.
Doreen Kasim, attending with Moreen Albazzi, did not utter a single word in defence and appeared rather shocked at the proceedings. Lina Tiareh did not appear at the hearing.
In summary: the judge awarded the court fees to be paid by Moreen Albazzi to us within a 14 day period, plus a payment to the court for the hearing.
Justice was done!
