We were referred to Morford Brokers Group as the purchasing agents for a couple of timeshares we own.  After a period of almost 7 months and a large amount of our finances, nothing happened.  They kept promising we wouuld receive the purchase price of our timeshares, along with reimbursement of the expenses we had incurred.  This included what appeard to be legitimate Mexican banks and legal entities.  All of which seem to be fake.

Do not have any dealings with Morford Brokers Group.  I have seen some other positive reviews for this company, but there were only 4, and all appear to have been recently filed.  This makes it appear someone with the company is writing the glowing reviews.

Here's how to tell a timeshare related service is a scam. If they promise you anything other than single digit pennies on the dollar, they are a scam. If they want up front fees, they are a scam. Timeshares are pretty close to worthless, just look on ebay. Tons of them failing to sell even for one dollar. You will certainly never get anything close to what you paid. Most of the purchase price ends up as commissions, the timeshare company is primarily in it for the maintenance fees. Timeshares are sold through high pressure boiler room tactics because no rational buyer would ever purchase one otherwise.
