We moved from Fort wayne, IN to New Jersey, and I thought I found a remarkable deal when I was quoted 1900 dollars to move
we decided to seek legal action and seeked the help of a local lawyer in fort wayne. however, the contract stated that they could only be sued in the state of Florida. we were advised to sue by the lawyer in Fort wayne.

While trying to negotiate the scumbag had pissed off this lawyer, who actually looked-up and found us a lawyer whose help we seeked.in the interim period we were without any furnitur clothes except for the small bag that we had packed. We were resolute to take these people to court, even if I went into debt. My wife the complained to the BBB, which tried mediating but were practically useless, except that the Morgan Van Lines were opn record.

We then Called up the DOT and after several attempts managed to speak to the person who actually gives the licenses. After about three weeks of continous discussions with DOT and our attorney, The DOT called up the company and asked them to either deliver our furniture or have their license pulled. Within three days, we had our goods delivered.

It took us totally about two months, but what sweet revenge we had when we saw the crooks drop our goods very carefully. There was very little damage.
So for all of you out there. This is what you do. Complain to the DOT,speak to the chief, give him the DOT license number tell him how you were ripped off and hire an attorney.

The movers are not that powerful or have that much clout to get away. By the way, i have still not withdrwan my complaint form the BBB. they still owe us the excess they've taken, and unless recd. will continue to keep the case open.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, its paid for!
