I am writing to inform the public about Moro Models and Talent Management Inc. During the summer of 2006, I saw an advertisement for their agency in the Employment News newspaper. The ad implied that they were a real agency who offers real work. As a person interested in the modelling industry, I decided to contact them. They responded a month later and set-up an appointment for me to talk to the director.

The director, Zoomi, delighted me with promises of big projects and lots of money if I joined their agency. However, when I learned of the massive costs of enlisting, I backed out. He then told me that the agency will cover for a portion of the expenses and I will quickly earn back the expenses as I had immense potential. He gave me two days to take the offer or just leave it. As I was excited of the opportunity of glamour and money, I told him I will come back with the payment.

A few days later, I signed a one-year contract with the agency and within a month, paid approximately $1200 as they said they would not submit me to auditions without the payment. At present, the contract will almost be over. The total amount of money I have earned is less than $100 (for background/extra work). I have been to less than five auditions as well-a far cry from the promised weekly auditions. Moreover, the pictures that I paid for are of very poor quality.

After sensing that I might have been deceived, I did some research on modelling. I found out that legitimate agencies are prohibited from advertising to the public. Moreover, Moro Models and Talent is not even in the list of agents in the Actra Toronto website. It hurts me to realize that I paid grossly inflated prices for nothing. I am struggling in my daily life and what they did almost made me rely on hand-outs.

The agency is still advertising and who knows how many more people are being misled. Moreover, there are many other agencies out there that lurk around to scam people of their hard-earned money and time. I do not want other people to have the same experience. I hope the public benefits from this and the presence of unethical agencies will diminish.

Moro Models and Talent are Thieves, Money grabbers!

WOW.. what do I say about crooks? Well the definition on Wikipedia is: A criminal or thief.

That is exactly what Zoomie & Sakina do. They take your money and tell you all these lies that youre going to get these auditions for an opportunity to be something within prints, commercials, movies, videos etc.  When in reality, Zoomie and Sakina are masters of taking your money every month and  in return you will get No auditions, No communication (unless its a $ issue) No feedback..

I've never met such pathetic losers in this industry in my life. Why dont you be more ethical and honest instead of being thieves.. I'm sure Karma will come back and rob your asses.

Whoever is reading this PLEASE dont waste your time with these crooks. You will regret every penny. I am speaking from resent experience from 2012. If they contact you, do yourself a favor and RUN in the other direction as fast as you can. They are money hungry because thats how they know how to survive. ZOOMIE & SAKINA ARE CROOKS!!!!

I strongly advice you amongst other review online that you should change your name to Moro Morons and Talentless Management Inc.
