Morpheus Software A VERY MISLEADING COMPANY/WEBSITE THAT HAS NO CONSCIENCE OR INTEGRITY Santa Barbara California

The software that this company sells has serious limitations that restrict the use (specifically rendering capabilities) of the software without the consumer having to spend double their initial purchase expense. The company's website is VERY misleading and doesn't give an accurate picture of the limited features. They seem to use a similar "Bait and Switch" practice as other less-than-honest companies.

The only way to get the full rendering abilities is to spend quite a bit more money to "upgrade" the software! I purchased this at full price and and tried to resolve the issue with them directly but they only defended their position and refused to give any refund!

I have since found far better software applications of this type for the same (or less) cost that give many more features and much smoother rendering. If you are thinking about purchasing this software I strongly urge you to compare their demo to the others.

I will never deal with this outfit again and will gladly tell everyone I know about their sleazy sales tactics!

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you had a bad experience. I'll address the points made in your complaint, denoted by **:

"The software that this company sells has serious limitations that restrict the use (specifically rendering capabilities) of the software without the consumer having to spend double their initial purchase expense."

**The free trial download is restricted in the # of animation saves or renders before the trial expires. This is not atypical. It is a free trial, so there is no cost.

"The company's website is VERY misleading and doesn't give an accurate picture of the limited features. They seem to use a similar "Bait and Switch" practice as other less-than-honest companies.

**I'm not sure what this refers to specifically in being misleading. We make it very clear which features are included in which editions of the products, right here:
https://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheusmorph/secure/purchase.php

Every single person who buys the product comes through a purchase page like the one listed here which spells out exactly what features come with what edition. Every once in a while a customer complains that they expected feature X to be included in edition Y and they feel they were misled, but as we know every customer must pass through this page, we know the customer failed to read which edition contains which feature.

"The only way to get the full rendering abilities is to spend quite a bit more money to "upgrade" the software! I purchased this at full price and and tried to resolve the issue with them directly but they only defended their position and refused to give any refund!"

**If you want to render in every possible format, you have to buy the highest end version. Again, this is spelled out clearly on the page every customer visits when ordering:
https://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheusmorph/secure/purchase.php

If you upgrade, you are only charged the additional cost after being credited for the amount you already spent. In certain instances, we can issue a refund if the customer has not already activated the product. Once activated, however, we have no way of stopping the customer from using the product after receiving a refund. We do not issue refunds for customers who expected a certain feature in a certain edition since we make that distinction clear and we have no way to force every customer to read that description before completing their purchase, as it's really out of our hands.

Again, sorry you had a bad experience with Morpheus. I hope you'll agree that we do make it quite clear what features are in what version, and that we are not misleading customers, but I do understand your frustration, and I do apologize.
