Mostchoice.com requires an upfront $500 fee to start the lead service - it takes 14 days to make any changes to the account and, generally, no changes during your initial deposit.

The leads are bogus. People looking for auto insurance coming to a health insurance agent. The excuses are creative - I thought I was filling out my insurance application online, invalid phone, no e-mail. Mostchoice says the same thing - a valid lead even if they say they didn't request it, don't want to talk, or say they were looking for a different kind of insurance.

Their website is antiquated. Very difficult to use and not automated at all. They say they are the best, but their website is the worst of several services I've tried.

Their customer service sucks. In the internet environment, they say it takes two weeks notice to make a change. All of the other companies make changes instantly.

this is a ripoff because they take $500 up front - promising you the best and delivering the worst.

As the Operations Manager of MostChoice (and an employee of almost 4 years) I would like to answer the claims made by Don with regards to our lead quality and our contract.

We do require a $500 minimum agreement to start so a partner has enough leads to develop a track record to be able to fully evaluate the leads, and have enough time to work the leads fully. This is also the reason why we limit changes to a profile during the initial deposit.

The leads that MostChoice provides are initiated by consumers via the web, we do not spam, use pop-ups or affiliate sites; we want consumers who are actively searching to speak with a professional about their insurance needs. There are instances where a consumer may have multiple insurance needs. MostChoice does have a crediting service to deal with things such as invalid phone numbers, students doing projects, etc.

MostChoice does have a fully staffed Customer Service Department available via email and telephone Monday - Friday. We try to accommodate agent requests in a timely manner and as fairly as possible.

Unfortunately we can not satisfy every agent who signs up with us, but we do have many, many happy agents who have been with us for years, and who continue to receive leads. We never like to hear from agents who have had bad experiences, and we strive each and every day to satisfy all of our clients to the fullest extent.
