MostChoice.com purports to sell fresh, unrecycled internet leads for the insurance, finance and real estate industry. Their website is quite effective, and the sales rep I talked with was personable and seemed to be on the level. I immediately became very unhappy with the type of leads I received, and told the sales rep why he was going to lose me as a customer. He clearly understood, but admitted to being unable to help, and referred me to their customer service manager.

I wanted to limit my loss to the initial deposit, and after much prodding, I was finally told the specific contractual clauses which limited when and how I could terminate the relationship with MostChoice would be strictly enforced.

I literally wasted 3 weeks of time, ended up losing a considerable amount of money over and above my deposit, and walked away from this debacle thinking MostChoice.com behaved as if they were the customer, not me. Based on my experience, I strongly urge everyone to avoid doing business with this organization. At the very least, review and understand the agreement you are required to sign.

As a manager at MostChoice, I monitor what our sales agents say to potential partners as well as what out written agreement (that you signed) states. I stand behind our sales agents and am confident that they explain our cancellation policy very clearly. The main goal of MostChoice is to join top-notch insurance agents with local consumers interested in speaking with an agent further about their needs. We are looking for agents who can do a good job-servicing customers, get a great return, and become long time partners. When that happens it's a win-win-win situation for the customer, the agent, and MostChoice.

Unfortunately, leads are a mixed bag and with the number of partners and leads we have, there are always some new partners who start off unlucky. With any leads there will be a bell curve of seriousness, so we want an agent to be able to work a large enough sample size (30 is considered a minimum sample size in statistics) in order to properly assess how the leads are working for them. You did receive a good number of leads, enough to evaluate how well our service worked for you, and unfortunately the results were not what you or MostChoice had hoped for.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: 'Buyer may modify or terminate profile after entire utilization of initial deposit and fourteen (14) days notice (notice period)'. It is not ambiguous, we will not accept a cancellation until the entire utilization of the initial deposit, precisely to make sure new partners have had an adequate chance to assess their track record before making a decision. We did prorate the amount of your second charge, and refunded all of the money that was left in your account after the 14 day notice.

We are sorry if you feel that you were misled in any way, but our contract clearly states our cancellation procedure. We put all of the terms in writing, so that there is no ambiguity in what MostChoice provides and what is asked of our customers. We held up to our end of the agreement, and we only asked that you do the same. MostChoice understands that out of the 1,000+ agents receiving leads from us that there will be a few unhappy customers. We have vastly many more that are extremely happy with our service, so to just publicize a few that did not start off well or do well is not balanced.
