I ordered a ranger 110 atv from motobuys for my son for Christmas. I was sent a coolster (wrong model)(cheaper) 110 that was the wrong color. I called and was told I could send it back for a 15% restocking fee. I kept it for that reason and because I could not get another one by Christmas. I chose to keep it and after rudeness by Bill said they would send me a free maintenence kit. So, I assembled it and it was missing a basic pin for the shock. I replaced it. I took the seat off to charge the battery and the safety latch for the seat fell off. After jumping though a bunch of hoops and endless emails, I was told to slow down by a representitive named Sam. I sent an email voicing my displeasure with the service and the treatment. Same told me to call the factory myself. I called and spoke with Chris who rudely put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back to speak with Bill. He called me rude, arrogant, and a pain in the a*s. He then told me he wished he had never sold me a quad. I reminded him that I am a customer. He told me the seat safety latch would be ordered and shipped. I asked if it would arrive before Christmas. He said "your son does not need the seat safety latch to ride the quad" I said, what if the seat falls off. Is that not the purpose of the safety latch. He then mumbled and said he did not have time to talk with me.

This customers complaint is 100% false.  This customer called us many times and spent more than 1 hour on the phone with us before he bought his unit.  I took his order personally.  He ordered from our web site a coolster / Tao model 110cc youth quad. The item can be found on our web page at the following :  http://www.motobuys.com/atv-110-models.html  . We require 2 color choices and the customer picked blue 1st choice and blue spider 2nd choice.  Customer received the blue spider. He then called and e-mailed us at least 10 times saying he did not order that color trying to get us to discount the unit or give him something for free.  He was clearly told just leave the unit in the shipping carton
and he could return it for a full refund.

If the item was wrong then (which it was not) then customer could have returned it.  However to appease him we sent him free of charge a $28.95 starter pack.  He then broke the seat latch in use.  There is no possible way a seat latch
can come broken on an ATV. We have sold thousands of them and never once have we ever had to replace a seat latch on one of these ATVs.  

This customer began a harassment campaign against our company and our staff.  He sent 6 emails in a course of 1 hour. He called my staff stupid, told them to get off there a*s and on and on. He filed this false complaint and numerous others on different sites because i finally had to put a stop to this extremely abusive customer.  I did tell that would no longer allow his abusive behavior and language against our staff.  So then he began filing these false complaints.

Even though the part this customer claims was broken, it is not covered under the warranty, we did send him the part free of charge and he did get it before Christmas.  Which makes this complaint completely false.  We sell over 6000 units a year. However there is always that 1 in a thousand customer that are not truthful and devious in there dealings
with companies.  This is one of those customers.

As we sell thousands of units per year we try hard to provide stellar customer service to all. Motobuys is confident that our longstanding commitment to satisfy our customers will stand on it's own merits and why we have the BBB rating we have earned.
